Albany Institute of History & Art
Founded in 1791, the Albany Institute of History & Art is one of America's oldest museums. The museum showcases the history and art of the Upper Hudson Valley region, featuring Hudson River School paintings, historic artifacts, and two Egyptian mummies. Its collections tell the story of Albany and the Upper Hudson Valley region's history and artistic heritage.
